RAGACOVAS (Rajiv Gandhi College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences) Alumni Association is a professional body maintained by Alumni of RAGACOVAS. The VCI has recognized the B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree programme offered by the College with effect from November 25, 1999, the day on which the first batch of students passed out and the degree of this college is included in the first schedule of IVC Act (Gazette Notification NewDelhi 13th February, 2001)
The Alumni association was established in the year 2004 and was registered as an Association under the Registration of Societies Act XXI of 1860, as Reg.S.No. 240 of 2005.
The association is maintaining the website www.laporteragacovas.com which was launched by our beloved Dean, RAGACOVAS Dr.G. Butchaiah on 10th January, 2005. The inaugural meeting was participated by all faculty who had expressed solidarity.
Dr. R. Sabarinathan Nair, the founder Dean, RAGACOVAS had expressed his best wishes for the association members. We thank him for his kindness.
Membership of the association is open to graduate's of this prestigious setup.
